This is a Mother’s Day shout out to all the moms who have inspired me to be a better mom in their own unique way.
To the moms who are single parenting – You are twice the parent that I am. I have seen you do an amazing job raising your kids and I am inspired to be half as good of a mom as you.
To the moms with large families– I am in awe of you and have learned so much about how to “roll with the punches” in the chaos of life.
To the moms who work two jobs – one at home and one outside the home – I marvel at how you manage the logistics of your schedule. Thank you for teaching me how to be a better juggler!
To the moms that have faced seemingly insurmountable challenges – I hope that in difficult times, I can show the same grace under fire that you have shown.
To the moms who didn’t have someone to teach you how to be a good mom – You have shown me that motherhood doesn’t have to be perfect to be good.
To the moms who entered motherhood earlier in life than you expected – You have demonstrated true sacrifice, giving up so much at a young age to be a good mom.
To the moms that had to wait a long time for motherhood – You are an inspiration to me of patience and refusal to give up hope.
To the moms that have lost a child – You have shown me that it is possible to have joy in times of great sorrow.
To the moms who hold down the fort while your husbands go off to serve people in need or our country – Your willingness to “make it work” so he can serve others is inspiring.
I am blessed to have known you.
Happy Mother’s Day!
P.S. Let’s keep the love fest going. Share this with a mom who has inspired you!
