I’m the mom of three (one teenage daughter and two hairy dogs) and the wife of one great guy. My days are mostly about taking care of my family and our home. Like all moms, I face the daily challenge of being all things at all times to everyone. (OK, not really, but you get the idea.) I love a great bargain. I prefer being barefoot to wearing shoes. I love the beach. I’m a Jesus girl. I’m not a fan of humidity (just ask my hair). And I love making our home a place where family and friends want to hang out.
This blog is all about embracing life…right now…amidst the spilled milk and teenage drama.
What does that mean? For me, it means celebrating the little moments; opening the windows on a beautiful day; family dinners; and laughing with friends. And it means being thankful, content, and real. You won’t find posts here about perfect living; but you will find inspiration for embracing your life.
I started this blog because I want to encourage women from all walks of life to embrace life, wherever we are.
There will be lots of ideas here to inspire you such as:
- Staying organized so you have more time
- Tips to help make your house a home
- Ideas for simple meals that will bring your family together
- Suggestions for healthy living
- Stories of faith, family and friends
- And, sometimes just something to tickle your funny bone
Don’t get me wrong…I don’t have all the answers. But I believe that by sharing, we can all learn from each other on how to do this thing called life. It is my hope that this blog will be a community of people sharing ideas and encouragement for each other. Comment on the blog posts…send suggestions…ask questions. I would love to hear from you!
